Training materials are now available

We are pleased to announce that the development of training materials supporting the vocational education and training (VET) sector in Ukraine as part of the MIND project has been completed.

A key stage of Work Package No. 2, which includes the development of comprehensive training materials and tools to support the development of the vocational education and training (VET) sector in Ukraine, has been completed.

WP No. 2 focused on building the capacity of VET institutions by developing strategies, competencies, and modern educational tools that respond to current social and economic challenges, including the effects of war and labor market needs.

The implementation of WP2 included the following tasks:

Under the leadership of the package leader, UNINA, a comprehensive project action plan was developed. This document defined the timeline, roles, and responsibilities of the partners, creating a solid foundation for further capacity-building activities and the development of training content and tools. The result was the development of deliverable D2.1. The project partners conducted a series of four online workshops for Ukrainian partners, the aim of which was to jointly develop resilience and development strategies for Ukrainian VET institutions. Collaboration between EU and Ukrainian partners enabled adaptation of activities to the current needs of the sector, resulting in training modules and tools.

Specialized training materials and tools were developed to support the identification and management of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). These materials aim to equip VET staff with the competencies necessary to work with individuals affected by trauma.

As part of the collaboration between the ADN and IHF partners, training materials were developed on European qualifications tools and frameworks, such as EQF, ESCO, Cedefop, and the European Digital Credential for Learning (EDCL). These materials support the alignment of VET offerings with European standards.

Training modules based on European competency frameworks, such as EntreComp, GreenComp, LifeComp, and DigComp, provide comprehensive support. The process included analyzing labor market needs, identifying occupational profiles, and defining learning outcomes, which allowed for the creation of modern and practical training solutions for the VET sector. The completion of WP2 represents a significant step towards strengthening the vocational education system in Ukraine. The materials and tools developed will contribute to improving the quality of education, better aligning competencies with labor market needs, and supporting individuals facing social challenges.

The MIND project continues its efforts to build a resilient, modern, and inclusive VET system that responds to contemporary challenges.
