The MIND Project Has Officially Launched
We are thrilled to announce the start of the MIND Project and its successful Kick-Off Meeting, held online on January 8, 2025. Co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Commission, this Capacity Building initiative focuses on tackling mental health challenges and strengthening Vocational Education and Training (VET) in Ukraine.
Why is this important?
The war in Ukraine has deeply affected its people, with an estimated 25% to 42% experiencing psychological distress, including PTSD.
The VET sector plays a crucial role in Ukraine’s reconstruction, addressing both the economic and social impacts of the war.
Through the MIND Project, we aim to:
- Equip Ukrainian Vocational Education And Training (VET) providers with tools to address post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and mental health challenges.
- Enhance resilience by integrating EU VET tools and strategies into the Ukrainian system.
How will we achieve this?
The project is structured around key Work Packages, including:
Developing localized training materials for PTSD management.
Introducing blended learning through the ADN eLearning platform.
Dissemination and valorisation activities to maximize project visibility and impact
The MIND Project unites a diverse consortium of partners from Poland, Italy, Belgium, and Ukraine, working together to rebuild and empower Ukraine’s VET system for a brighter future.
